Hedges
This hedge needs regular trimming through the spring and summer. We combine the visit with mowing their lawn to keep ahead of the growth.
As this client prefers, we either rake the leaves under the hedges neatly to feed the soil that nurtures the hedge or collect them for mulch.
Lawns
This lawn was beautifully wild, but needed some zoning to bring peace of mind and usability to the space.
So we introduced some intentional meadow and protected some patches of wildflowers, which we will either nurture or move to the meadow.
Design and Clearance
This family wanted help to clear the overgrowth and waste products build up in their front garden.

Permaculture Based Soil Recovery

These clients were finding limited success with a lot of species growing in this garden due to the position of the bed and the poor health of the soil.
We collected the grass clippings from their lawn over time and used it as a layer of mulch to protect and enrich the soil. We saw great improvement immediately.
Next Autumn we collected the leaves from their cherry trees and used these as a thick mulch layer. This will bring more nutrients, weed suppression and moisture.
